Tell us about yourself?

Hi to everyone reading this, my name is Shubham Chopra and I’m the founder of Marketing Savior. By profession, I’m a blogger and digital marketer with experience of over three years in the field.

I have started my professional journey since my 1st year of college by doing internships. I had two job offers in my hand before the completion of my graduation.

I took one of those jobs and worked for a year, after that I start my online website – Marketing Savior where I review hosting and Saas products so that people can get an in-depth knowledge of the product they are going to buy.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

I think the biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups is that they think that it’s all about raising funds.

Yes, it is an important part but, what’s more important is what value you are bringing to the people. If you’re solving something then that should be your main focus rather than just MONEY MONEY MONEY!

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

Trust the process and results will follow. I’ve been always been result-oriented but in the past few months, I have realised that the process and steps you do to achieve that result should be enjoyed by you every day.

So results will be a byproduct of your consistent efforts and grind.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

Every entrepreneur has different thinking and mindset. The thing that makes me stand out as an online entrepreneur is my patience level. As said above, I always love the process so sometimes results come quickly and sometimes they won’t, so my patience level is good.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

As I started working pretty early, so I’ve developed some good habits. One of them is consistency that success should be celebrated but your work shouldn’t be affected.

The next one will be having a futuristic approach. It is one of the good habits that every businessman should have: that they are future-oriented and working towards it.

Where do you see your business in five years?

So in the coming years, I want to be one of the best marketers in India by providing some awesome and valuable reviews to my readers.

What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

The competition – it’s not a bad thing, and you shouldn’t have fear of it, but as more and more people are jumping towards the internet, the online businesses are going to get more and more competition every day.

But I have faith in my skills, so that won’t be that big of a hurdle. But yes, if looked at it from a business point of view, competition is always a challenge.

Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?

I was able to win three back-to-back competitions organised by one of the best companies in the Saas tool for digital marketing – Semrush. It feels so good that your content is loved worldwide and appreciated. Semrush is also one of the first companies that I have tied up with and it’s really awesome doing business with them.

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?

Mostly my customers come from Google, YoutTube, and Pinterest. There are other social media channels as well.

I’m a much of a ‘be yourself’ person, because in blogging if you’re not yourself and just a salesperson, your career isn’t going too far.

What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?

Never stop the grind, be consistent and results/success will be a by-product.

And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?

Personally, I will be seeing myself travelling my country and hopefully internationally as well.

From a business point of view, I’m going to provide more value to people and will be scaling my business.
