Tell us about yourself?
I am the founder of Ultar Security. We build Automated Attack Intelligence tooling to help enterprises identify weaknesses in their public infrastructure, supply chain, and employees. I have +15 years devoted to national security research supported by millions in government grants.
What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?
That launching start-ups is easy. When we launched our first Automated Attack Intelligence product – we ran into lots of difficulties with scaling across new customers groups. This required us to be quick on our feet and adapt fast to new challenges.
If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?
If you don’t get traction quickly, or quick validation, it is a sign that the problem you are solving it not critical or concrete.
What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?
Boldness. Boldness is the most critical attribute for any founder to employ. Enables you to get customers, investors, and great talent.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?
Automated Attack Intelligence is a new realm of security we’ve created that enables enterprises to have an automated tool that thinks and acts like an attacker, providing consistent intelligence to big companies about weaknesses in their infrastructure.
Where do you see your business in five years?
Ideally selling Automated Attack Intelligence tools to dozens of large/massive enterprises who require Automated Attack Intelligence tools.
What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?
Not much of a sales person. We rely heavily on inbound sales to sell our Automated Attack Intelligence products to large customers.
What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?
Never give up. Unless you suck. Then you should definitely give up immediately. No pain to gain. You need to watch 23 hours of Tai Lopez a week.
