Kamran Talib of Revounts.

Tell us about yourself?

I’m Kamran Talib, founder of Revounts. I originally belonged to Pakistan. I am a serial entrepreneur, passionate about creating and scaling businesses at the intersection of brands and their affiliated marketing in Australia.

I spent the last 10 years in this field and 6+ years in US affiliate market. I have worked in the Australian market since 2018.

I successfully build a trustable and extensive community that benefits the people and brands. I firmly believe that success depends first on people and the right skills.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

The biggest misconception behind the startup is the thought that if you quit your job and put things aside, the business will set, and money will come anyway.

It’s not magic, and it’s not even a matter of luck. Every successful start is failed start of x100. Investing in something is good but useless if you don’t envision your path to success.

On the other hand, creating something out of a dream idea and being passionate about it is rewarding. Things help, and GOD Always rewards the hard work.

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

I go back and start it earlier without over thinking things. The world does not wait! Your ambition that propels you to success can also be your downfall.

One tip is to be innovative with the future-proof skills that will be needed for years to come.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

The world is full of infinite possibilities and countless opportunities, but your life and career are finite. About all successful entrepreneurs have pasts.

It’s not as unbreakable as it looks. But using past experiences and mistakes is one of my greatest strengths.

You can do whatever you want and do it your way—only one catch. You have to start somewhere. Ideas and opportunities do not come suddenly.

Of course, it also takes tremendous effort, but that’s only part of the spectrum. The only way I know is to acquire marketable skills and start working.

In my experience, ideas, opportunities, partners and funding always seem to come from there.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

Time management and money management is the most important thing I have learned since I start working, Success here equates to setting aside regular time to de-stress and do things that excite you, and every dollar you spend brings you closer or farther to your goals.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

Revounts was conceived as a discount website.

Now becoming the centre of all bargains and discount deals from all of the best brands in Australia, the perception behind the company is to provide discount deals and savings, shopping tricks and everything that can make shopping more affordable for the people.

On the other hand, Revounts is providing significant benefits to the brands to sell more by marketing them in the best possible ways.

Where do you see your business in five years?

Reach millions of customer in Australia. Provide each and every customer best bargains to save their money.

What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

Regardless of the type of business, competition is fierce these days, impacting marketing costs.

For example, if a competitor buys targeted Google ads in prevalence, all market participants bid higher. In my opinion, the biggest challenge is to get an accurate theme of what your competitors are doing (unfortunately, you can’t reduce the number of competitors unless they go bankrupt), create a particular file and update it regularly.

The competition pervades every space, but my goal is to keep growing the community in every possible manner.

Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?

I was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. It is challenging to start up and grow your business due to limited opportunities and financial inconvenience.

People always discourage you from startup, and they are right because entrepreneurship is risky. We know better not every business can survive, especially when you have nothing to start with but an Idea!

So, what separates me from these thoughts? Learning from others and avoiding common pitfalls!

There are the entrepreneurs who started their journey with no capital, no money, sometimes no education or experience, and have gone on to great success against all odds.

It’s essential to avoid and know what impact your decisions have had. I worked hard in small places, saved all the cash, and moved to Australia.

After facing recurring failures, I set up Revounts, which is now benefiting thousands of Australian brands and helping them reach million-dollar sales.

It is all about figuring out and creating customer value. I believe Companies are successful because of the proper steps along the way, learning from the mistakes and failures and a refusal to GIVE UP thought!

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?

My website is the primary location for all my clients and customers.

Still, the customer can reach me via a google search and my company’s social media channels, such as Twitter, Facebook, and more.

So yes, you can call me a salesperson as I market different brands, increase their sales, and provide the locals with the best bargains, coupons, and deals.

What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?

Being determined and disciplined is the key for the success of the passion and dream you have in your mind.

Hope is the thing that operates the mind. Never be afraid of failures. Face them. They are keys to your success doors.

And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?

I want Revounts to grow and expand its roots to other countries by selling their brands in the future.

I hope to focus more on the areas of expertise and keep growing my community with a positive impact!
