Tell us about yourself?
I am a seasoned and certified software tester with Project Management Certification (PMP) under my belt. I have around 12 years of software testing and quality assurance. I am running my own technology development, software testing, and quality assurance consulting and outsourcing company based out in Karachi, Pakistan.
On the other side, I love to travel and plan to go all around the world. I also love to play and watch cricket and football!
What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?
I think people take it as a bed of roses and go without proper planning, and the right strategy, and that is the reason why they lose hope early and when things do not materialise as they expected.
If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?
More and more planning, developing the right strategy, and investing the money rather than saving it. Savers are losers. Read more. Make the best out of your time that will help you in the next five years to come.
What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?
I am fearless. I do not care about the days to come. I am living in the moment without worrying whether there will be food on my table tomorrow or not. I am lucky enough to start my own venture and take the decision to run my own technology company in a country where people are usually too scared to start a business because of the fear to be not able to pay their bills.
What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?
Think. Read. Learn, unlearn and relearn. Never be ashamed of yourself. Accept your mistakes and overcome them. Get ready and always show up.
Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?
Starting M&M Technologies is well thought out idea to help our customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and other developed countries where they are facing a significant shortage of good software engineering, testing, and quality assurance talent.
They also spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a single employee and M&M Technology’s sole purpose is to reduce the cost up to 8x.
Where do you see your business in five years?
One of the leading technology development companies in Pakistan Insha’Allah. I would want to open my site offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada.
What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?
Sustainable growth is the only key factor, but it definitely comes after providing the valuable services our customers need. Working closely with new prospects and converting them into our customers.
Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?
I do not want to brag about it. We plan to make a big impact on the financial statements of our customers and soon it will be all over the internet.
How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?
Most of the traction we get is through our LinkedIn business page and through our website https://mnmtech.co. We are yet to have a dedicated sales team and soon they will be there to make a big impact.
What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” – Abraham Lincoln.
Spend as many hours in planning and preparing as possible.
And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?
We want to create value by adding value to our customer’s businesses. The future is bright for me and M&M Technologies and I anticipate a great future and fortune ahead.
There will be new prospects and customers. New opportunities and prosperity.
