Tell us about yourself?

I am a founder of blueqat which is a company to provide software development tools for quantum computiing.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

Startups cannot evaluated by the existing values. It completely making a new value for the society, so people should have a new view on things and it comes from many trial to use or look at new things everyday.

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

I am completely satisfied with the exisiting environment. If i have just one tip i would say that let’s do your way as you want to do.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

I am doing what I am good at. Quantum computing is a very difficult field for most of the people but I am enjoying it because I found it is very comfortable for me.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

Do not claim a lot to outside and keep the pace. Just follow one thing and not to do a lot of things at once.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

blueqat is named after blue + cat a famous Japanese anime character Doraemon. We are seeking a new technology on computinig looking at future.

Where do you see your business in five years?

To make a quantum comuting data center and application store to let people use quantum computing much more easier.

What do you think the biggest challenge will be for you in getting there?

To make a small quantum computer. As the existing quantum computer is very large and we need much more smaller ones for let people use it.

Talk to us about your biggest success story so far?

I just succeded to found a quantum computing startup and continue doing it for 8 years. It is very difficult to survive in this field.

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?

I am doing twitter everyday and also posting movies to youtube. People find our services looking mainily at youtubes. Also we have exhibition twice a year in Tokyo.

What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?

Valuation of the startup is very important. Startup is mostly working on stock rather than the product itself. To plan a long plan to maximize the valuation and work silently to accomplish it.

And finally, what do you hope the future brings both you personally, and your business?

The future technology let people go to the next stage, much more comfortable, less stress, and long living life. People should live in much more comfortable spaces and time.
