My name is Alexander Benz and I’m a serial entrepreneur, product manager and consultant with 10 years of experience in developing online products and leading teams.

What do you think is the single biggest misconception people have when it comes to startups?

I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have when it comes to startups is that they are easy.

Starting a successful business requires hard work, dedication, and strategic thinking. It also requires a deep understanding of the market and the customer, as well as an ability to pivot and adapt quickly if necessary. Additionally, having a great team is essential for success.

If you could go back in time to any moment from your journey, and give yourself one tip, what would it be?

If I could go back in time and give myself one tip, it would be to stay focused and don’t get overwhelmed. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of starting a business and forget about the details.

What makes you stand out as an entrepreneur?

I think what sets me apart as an entrepreneur is my experience in both product development and UX design. This allows me to understand the bigger picture and to create a plan that takes into account the greater goals of SEO, marketing, and CRO.

What are some of the best working habits you’ve gained over the past couple of years?

Some of the best working habits I’ve gained over the past couple of years include staying organized, setting realistic goals, and taking breaks.

Staying organized helps me to remain focused and efficient, setting realistic goals gives me something to strive for, and taking breaks allows me to recharge and come back with fresh ideas.

Additionally, I prioritize tasks and make sure I’m focusing on the most important ones first. Finally, I make sure to take time to reflect and analyze my progress so I can adjust my plans accordingly.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

Filler bite was inspired by my own struggles with anxiety and depression after surviving an assault a couple of years ago.

Despite all the odds being stacked against me, I chose life. And because of that choice, I am now thriving, married to the love of my life, and pursuing my dreams.

From my own healing journey, I was determined to help others overcome their darkest days and created Filler bite, a ground-breaking formula of supplements that targets life’s many struggles through unbelievably decadent chocolate.

Where do you see your business in five years?

In five years, I see Filler bite becoming a global brand and leading provider of health and wellness products. We’re aiming to help millions of people around the world improve their mental and physical health, as well as provide a supportive community for survivors.

My biggest success story this far with Filler bite is definitely my battle with anxiety and depression and turning to something positive to help others.

Every day we receive messages from people who are inspired by the story and how it has helped them become more open about mental health. This has been an amazing journey so far, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

How do clients and customers find you? Are you much of a salesperson for yourself?

Clients and customers find us mainly through word of mouth and online. We also have an active presence on social media, which helps spread the word about our products and services.

I’m also active in the health and wellness space, which has helped us build connections with potential customers and partners.

Additionally, I’m very much a salesperson for myself and the company. I’m constantly reaching out to potential clients and partners, building relationships, and providing them with the best possible customer experience.

What one tip would you give to fellow startup founders?

My one tip to fellow startup founders is to be resilient and stay focused. Starting a business can be difficult, and there will be times when it feels like you’re not making any progress. It’s important to remain focused on your goals and never give up.

I hope to be able to move out to LA this year with my husband, and to continue to grow Filler bite into a global brand. I’m also passionate about helping others overcome their struggles with mental health and providing a supportive community.
